Abbott Product Specialist Abbott Diabetes Care Norway - North in Remote, Norway


Abbott Diabetes Care is an Abbott Division and is Market Leader in Diabetes Care with -among others- its amazing product Freestyle Libre. For this Division we are looking for a talented Product Specialist to drive our further growth and expansion in Northern part of Norway.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering and execution of the agreed plans and sales target for the district.

  • Reach planned market share

  • Promote selected products to defined customer groups.

  • Develop relationships and product support with targeted customers.

  • Develop strong customer relationships with various stakeholders.

  • Monitor and react to customer needs; leverage material and programs, which meet or exceed those needs.

  • Sales call planning & activity reporting in the appropriate system, and in a timely manner.

  • Identify and report market intelligence.

  • Build and maintain information on targeted customers, territory and competitors.

  • Ensure significant input into the development and execution of the action plan.

  • Acquire and maintain a high level of knowledge and skills required for selling, promoting and local marketing.

  • Carry out all tasks assigned by his/her manager within the time and budget allocation.

  • Organizing and attending national and international symposia, exhibitions, etc.

  • Ensure planned meter placements and call frequency for district.

  • Secure PEX goal achievement

  • Proactively take action related to topics on his/her development plan

  • Territory analysis

  • Display a conscious behavior in terms of travel costs

  • Pro-actively deliver constructive feedback to manager and peers

  • Represent the company in an etichal manner; by ensuring standards of conduct in line with company procedure and in accordance with the code of practice and in-line with local law, rules and regulations.

Education, Experience & Background:

  • Relevant third level, preferably university degree qualification together with a minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare sales, one of which must be hospital sales.

  • Keen information/territory intelligence gathering ability.

  • Superior relationship building skills.

  • Competent computer skills

  • Fluent English

  • Needs to be living in the Region (Norway North)
