Business Development Executive

A Business Development Executive is responsible for driving sales and thus a key element in Avanade’s continued growth.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Drive service, solution- and complex project selling

  • Execute Business Development programs (sales, contract management)

  • Develop and implement Business Development strategies for selected Enterprise customers and industries

  • Understand the Business Development processes from pre- to post sale

  • Maintain familiarity with the various solutions that Avanade offers

  • Maintain good knowledge of Microsoft products and the implementations of these

  • Have a solid understanding of the Norwegian IT and marketing services market and competitive landscape

  • A good understanding of sales and project sales and preferably Microsoft products

  • Preferable experience from matrix and large global organizations organization

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written

  • Strong customer management skills and proven ability to drive sales in the enterprise customer segment

  • Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to analyze situations, identify critical issues and recommend technical solutions to meet customer's needs

  • Ability to self-manage - you should be self-driven, demonstrate high levels of initiative and be able to work effectively in a high pressure and high pace environment

  • Have a BA or a Master degree

  • Must be fluent in spoken and written Norwegian and English

  • Experience in contract negotiations

You will be a part of the Sales Community, led by Marijana and you will have the opportunity to learn from and share your knowledge with a team of 3 business developers and a wider group of presales specialists.
