In 2015 Cargill acquired one of the world’s biggest feed producers, EWOS. Following the acquisition, Cargill gathered all its aqua feed activities into one new group called Cargill Aqua Nutrition (CQN), present in 20 countries and with headquarter in Bergen, Norway. This role will focus on CQN’s activities in Norway and Scotland (North Sea).
The FP&A Lead will be responsible for providing analysis and insight into the direction of the business and proactively challenge the status quo. The focus will be on activities that are value creation focused and forward looking, like evaluating products and customers. The focus will be on how to grow the business and improve overall business performance.
The role is a key member of the business leadership team and will have dual reporting to both the Managing Director and the Group FP&A Lead. The FP&A lead will operate across Norway and Scotland and building relationships across multiple stakeholder groups will be critical to value creation opportunities.
We are looking for CFOs/Business Controllers with financial background combined with a deep business understanding and strong commercial and strategic capabilities. We expect the candidates to be able to relate to others with candor, openness and transparency and with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization. English and Norwegian proficiency is required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other Business related degree
Minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience
English and Norwegian Proficiency
Demonstrated ability to develop long term strategic plans
Ability to integrate and interpret disparate sources of data using broad range of analytical data tools. Incorporates use of statistical methodology and predictive modeling techniques. Design, develop and implement value-added business analytics.
Demonstrate strong commercial acumen. Able to understand the business (products/services, customers, processes) and their key drivers of success (how they make money,what the business costs are).
Demonstrates high degree of curiosity. Invest time and energy into learning. Seeks different points of view and perspectives (internal and external).
Develops a strategic perspective by creating effective business plans
