As aMarket Access Manager & Health Economistworking on theMarket AccessTeam, you will report to Director Market Access and Governmental Affairs, and you will be empowered to:

  • Lead and implement market access strategy for product(s) under responsibility to obtain and maintain optimal access and pricing outcomes

  • Take responsibility for Health Technology Assessments (HTA) submission and negotiate with authorities

  • Deliver health economic and Real World Evidence (RWE) data collection, carry out cost-effectiveness analyses and support to articulate the value of the product to payers in alignment with the market access strategy

  • Engage in strong long-term relationships with payers and their influencers


  • Primary area of responsibility within IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) and oncology, potentially also within other therapeutic areas

  • Plan and provide written Health Technology Assessments (HTA) for submission to national payers

  • Plan, collect and use RWD for HTA purpose and to strengthen the commercialization of Takeda’s products in collaboration with x-functional team

  • Collaborate with regional/global functions in Health Economics (HE), Market Access and RWD to ensure development of global economic models and evidence plans account for local specificities and needs

  • Actively communicate with public counterparts and demonstrate good understanding of HTA requirements and funding processes

_Required qualifications_

  • Basic degree within economics, medicine or pharmacy

  • Additional degree in health economics or experience within pharma economics

  • Insight into local reimbursement, legal and policy framework

  • Experience from public policy institution or pharmaceutical industry

  • Good understanding of HTA models and local guidelines

  • Desire to put people first and demonstrate the values of Takeda-ism


  • Proficiency in localizing cost-effectiveness models provided by our Headquarter to our Norwegian settings

  • Excellent ability to communicate HTA value propositions to national payers as well as to health care personnel, in writing and verbally

  • Strategic mindset and negotiations skills

  • Cross-functional mind-set (across functions and internationally)

  • Networking capabilities with payers and decision makers

  • Timely, structured and analytical

  • Reliable and self-going with ability to handle multiple tasks
